SculpSure
SculpSure is the first FDA-cleared laser treatment for permanent, non-invasive lipolysis (liposuction without surgery). Areas of treatment: flanks (love handles), abdomen (muffin tops), inner thighs, backfat, arms, to double chins.
Results are permanent! Each treatment is only 25 minutes.
Injectables
Newport Aesthetics offers only the latest anti-wrinkle injections resulting in clearer, more beautiful skin with no discomfort or downtime. Botox / Jeuveau to fillers (such as Juvéderm XC, Voluma, Volbella, Vollure, & Volux) & Kybella. We suggest a personalized consultation & treatment plan for every new client since you are one in a million!

Hair Removal
Our Medical Spa offers both IPL and the Laser (YAG) for laser hair removal (now more accurately called laser hair reduction). The choice of IPL vs YAG laser depends on the previous experience, personal requests, skin type and advice from our medical professionals.
Chemical Peels
A chemical peel is a treatment that improves the appearance of the fine lines, dark spots, acne and problematic skin on the face, neck, chest, back or hands. A chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is tighter, smoother, clearer and brighter!
We offer the VI PEEL - exclusive to a physician's offices and not available on a regular esthetician's menu!
HydraFacial
HydraFacial is the a procedure done by our Licensed Esthetician using a patented vortex-technology. This multistep treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation, acid peeling, extraction(s), hydration and antioxidant protection - all in one visit!
This results in clearer, more beautiful skin with no discomfort or downtime. This is a celebrity favorite!
IPL
Intense pulsed light (IPL) at Newport Aesthetics has many aesthetic and therapeutic purposes, including laser hair reduction (formerly laser hair removal), photorejuvenation / photo facial (e.g. the treatment of skin pigmentation, sun damage, and red vessels) as well as to alleviate skin diseases such as birthmarks, acne or rosacea.
Skin Resurfacing
Smoothing out skin texture can be achieved with our fractional laser (ICON 1540 - similar to (but better than) Fraxel with almost no downtime). This laser reduces fine lines and wrinkles and effectively treats scars (acne, surgical and/or stretch marks). Less down time means more time to get back to the important people in your life.
Combine ICON 1540 with IPL and you have our signature SYNERGY treatment - for even more dramatic results.
COOLIFTING
The latest addition to Newport Aesthetics is this combination treatment of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and carbon dioxide (CO2).
This HA / CO2 duo works to immediately hydrate your skin in minutes. A calming and relaxing facial massage follows the treatment and results are immediate. Combine multiple treatments for long-lasting results.
Pellevé
Skin Tightening with Radiofrequency (RF) skin tightening is an aesthetic treatment that uses RF energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production in order to reduce the appearance of fine lines and loose skin. This is often compared to Ultherapy (but without the pain - no numbing needed here). Results are immediate.
Meet Our Team
Ann Mai, M.D.
Dr. Ann Mai is a double-boarded physician (M.D.) in private practice and affiliated with Hoag Hospital. Trusted by thousands of patients over the past 20+ years, she has expanded her scope of practice to include the aesthetic side of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at world-renown Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. This Canadian native obtained her M.D. from The University of Toronto at the age of 22.
She has also won numerous quality medical practice and patient recognition awards over the past 2-3 decades. Dr. Mai has a busy schedule as she continues to treat Primary Care patients in her "spare time" while she serves as our Medical Director and is hands-on with our treatments.
Dr. Mai is at Newport Aesthetics everyday and performs all facets of non-surgical Medical Aesthetics from skincare consultations (she will assess and advise you on all your skincare needs), to performing injections and laser treatments. Again, YES she is available for consultations and is available to perform the services we offer. Very few medical spas can say that they have a doctor on board every single day to do your treatment(s).
It was Dr. Mai who coined our motto, "Staying young never gets old!" Her results speak for themselves. In addition to being a rockstar physician who actually knows what is happening to your insides while you are getting your Aesthetic fix, she is a fashionista known for her shoes (and purses and OK - her entire fashion sense - look at how she decorated the office!) Brooke, Aesthetic Registered Nurse
Brooke received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from San Diego State University. She immediately started her nursing career at Children's Hospital of Orange County, where she was the only new graduate selected to work on the Neuroscience Unit.
Brooke then started her Aesthetic nursing career in 2014 and has been perfecting her practice ever since. She is certified to provide all laser services, injectables and HydraFacial treatments at our Medical Spa.
In her spare time, she devotes her time to her husband and beautiful kids. Brooke is on hiatus with her family right now and we will let you know when she returns!
Christine, Aesthetic Registered Nurse
Christine has over 20 years of experience in the Aesthetics world with certifications as an RN, RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) and CNOR (Certified Nurse of the Operating Room)!
She also operates "The Beauty Gallery" which partners with Newport Aesthetics in delivering injectables such as Botox and fillers (Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella, Vollure, and Volux). She also performs chemical peels, laser treatments and advises on skin care.
Christine believes that starting with the basics ad having her artistic eye is the key to her success. She gives each client her personalized white glove service and is extremely conservative. Her philosophy, "less is more" gives our clients a natural and more youthful appearance!
Lauren, Licensed Esthetician
With nearly 20 years of experience, Lauren brings her expertise to Newport Aesthetics to bring out the best in your skin. She is a MEDICAL esthetician - a designation only a small number of estheticians get to have. She has an artistic eye and a gentle touch. Ask her about her pride and joy (he's cute), her passions, travel (wanderlust!) and jewelry designs!
